HOUSTON DIASPORA COALITION
A network of church, parachurch, and missions agencies dedicated to demonstrating and declaring the love of Christ to the nations who have moved to Houston from other countries (aka "the diaspora").
"...he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him..." Acts 17:26-27.
"...and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations [ethne or people groups], and the end will come" Mt. 24:14.
The Houston Diaspora Coalition Values

Every-member participation: We seek to get every follower of Christ involved by using their gifts and experiences to reach those God has sent to Houston.

Deference to culture: We seek to respect the culture of those God has sent to Houston so they can worship Christ without losing their identity.

Reaching the world: We desire to reach the diaspora of Houston so that through them their friends and family back home can reach other nations.

Honoring member distinctives: We respect the various organizational or historic commitments held by our members as we work together to represent Christ and His Word among the nations in Houston.
